After their biggest win of the season at San Mateo on Monday afternoon, the Lady Cherokees were wary of a potential letdown against an underrated South San Francisco squad on Tuesday. Sequoia overcame the dreary conditions and a spirited Warriors counter-attack and got goals from Bridget Carbonneau, Gennie Cheatham and Brittney Liberati in a 3-1 win. The win keeps Sequoia (13-2-3) (8-1 PAL Ocean) 1 pt ahead of second-place San Mateo with just three games remaining in the regular season.
