For the second game in a row, the Lady Cherokees varsity volleyball team jumped out of the gate, taking a 1-set lead against a strong PAL opponent, but just as the advantage slipped away against Terra Nova on Tuesday, this time it was visiting Burlingame storming back to take three straight sets, dropping Sequoia to (3-3) overall on the season.

SR Julia Carlson led the Cherokees with 16 kills and SR Olivia Stubblefield added 34 digs in the losing effort.
