This past weekend the Girls Lacrosse team became the first girls Sequoia team to travel for a game. Their trip started when they flew down to Pasadena, California on Friday afternoon. After landing, they played a friendly game against local high school La Canada. However they traveled for the Rose Bowl Jamboree on 3/7 that hosts teams from all over California. Sequoia girls traveled the farthest from anyone in the tournament, as other teams were from southern California. They played 4 games on Saturday, right outside the Rose Bowl Stadium. While they didn’t win any games, they had fun and learned a lot. They bonded as a team and enjoyed traveling together.
