SEQ Men Suffer First PAL Loss at Carlmont

Despite averaging over 80 points a game in PAL play, the Cherokees found it tough-going in front of a packed house at Carlmont’s Terry Stogner gymnasium Friday night. Lady Cherokees Fall Short at Carlmont

Fresh off their first league win of the season Wednesday at Capuchino, the Sequoia Women’s Basketball team fell behind Carlmont 15-4 after one quarter Friday night and could never close the gap in the 59-35 loss. SR G Emily McAdams was excellent at both ends of the floor for Sequoia in the losing effort.

Woo, Albin Lead Lady Cherokees to First League Win

The Lady Cherokees had been feeling the frustration of a few close losses to open the 2017 league season, but were able to get on track Wednesday night at Capuchino. JR G Mia Woo and SR G Alyssa Albin each hit three times from beyond the arc to help Sequoia to the 63-54 win. Woo led
